Mushroom Jar
For this project, I aimed to make a stash jar in the shape of a mushroom or toadstool. I used an array of materials to build the structure, but ultimately used polymer clay and acrylic paint to achieve the design.

Low-fidelity design
The original sketch of how I wanted my jar to look.

02
Lid construction
Building up the lid for the jar to resemble the top of a toadstool. Materials used: Cardboard, aluminium foil and tape.

03
Sculpting the body - door
I started decorating the body of the jar by adding a door to the front of it. I wanted the door to look like it was made of wood, with stones framing it.

04
Sculpting the body - moss
Here, I started adding texture by adding little vines and clumps of moss to decorate around the body of the jar.

05
Sculpting the body - window
As the side and back were feeling a bit empty, I added a small window. I also framed it with some stones to make it look more cohesive with the design.
