Cat Harness
For this project, I made a harness/vest for my cat based on the one worn by the main character in the 2022 video game ‘Stray’.

01
Creating a pattern
I used a coat I knew my cat was comfortable wearing as the pattern for this harness/coat.
02
Base of the harness - front
The base of the fabric harness, laid out flat. This is the part that will be facing outwards.
03
Base of the harness - back
The base of the fabric harness, laid out flat. This is the part that will be facing inwards, so I used a more comfortable and warm lining.
04
Achievement badges
Within the game Stray, you can collect badges that get placed on your cat's harness. I created all six using self-cover buttons and acrylic paint, which I sewed onto the harness.
05
Final product
Final harness with electronics and buttons.
06
Final product - in action
Final product, worn by my cat.
